Fundraiser – Case Study
Ausgangssituation
An international fundraising organisation that supports social projects to help people.
The main aim is to create equal opportunities by breaking the cycle of poverty and disability in developing countries with outside help. This creates a better quality of life and makes everyday life easier. To attract potential new donors, this organisation uses personalised mailings, advertisements, inserts in parcels/magazines, social media, posters and TV advertising.
Task and objective
The organisation sends out appeals for donations in Germany twice a year in spring and autumn to generate new donors. Depending on the budget situation, additional package inserts are booked or advertisements and inserts are placed in magazines for the important autumn donation period. As dialogue marketing specialists, we present opportunities for acquiring new donors twice or three times a year and identify the corresponding potential. In addition to (duplicate-free) suitable external addresses, the media catalogue also includes target group-specific package inserts and media inserts as well as suitable advertising environments.
Trebbau direct media GmbH works closely with the fundraiser:
- The majority of address orders
- The booking of the desired inserts and adverts
- The entire data processing including the preparation of subsequent analyses
- And depending on the campaign, print run and mailing variant, the corresponding production and lettershop work.
Result
The combination of personalised and non-personalised advertising measures successfully contributes to the acquisition of new donors. New donors and potential donors are reached “directly” through the use of parcel and media inserts. Finally, the response, the CPO (CRD) and the donor lifetime value are determined and the next campaigns are planned jointly on the basis of the results obtained. In co-operation with the Trebbau Lettershop, short official channels, quick agreements and a smooth processing procedure are an additional plus for the customer
