Initial situation

EUROtops history in Germany began in 1985. Since its founding, the company, of French origin, has positioned itself as a novelty mail-order company for discerning men. EUROtops acquires new customers via catalog mailings, its webshop, as well as inserts, mailings, and ads. The mail-order company sells its products not only in Germany but also in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland. Expansion into other new, promising growth markets is also planned.

Tasks and objectives

In the countries mentioned above, our company presents at least three cross-media opportunities for customer acquisition annually and identifies corresponding potentials. The media catalog includes, in addition to (duplicate-free) suitable third-party addresses, target-group-specific package & media inserts as well as appropriate ad environments.

New countries are analyzed in advance, and the results are presented to the client. The analysis includes general country information, e-commerce market revenues, advertising expenditures, media behavior, information on data protection, payment and shipping methods, etc.

By renting EUROtops addresses and package inserts to other advertising companies, the mail-order company generates additional revenues. These proceeds help amortize part of the investments required for database maintenance and new customer acquisition. All data processing, as well as data and list management, is handled by Trebbau.

Result

The combination of personalized and non-personalized advertising measures successfully contributes to customer acquisition. The use of package & media inserts ensures precise targeting of both direct buyers and subscribers. The result not only looks at the response rate but also considers CPO, CPN, and Customer Lifetime Value, with follow-up campaigns aligned accordingly.
