Personalshop offers top-brand products at discounted prices to an exclusive group of eligible customers. The website showcases premium items from renowned global brands like GEOX, Kappa, Nordcap, Dachstein, Chiemsee, Otto Kern, and many more at heavily reduced prices.
The exclusive customer base includes members of professional and trade associations, unions, clubs, newspaper and magazine subscribers, corporate employees, freelancers, and executives.
Customer acquisition primarily takes place through mailings to third-party lists, inserts, and increasingly through the internet.
Tasks and objectives
To acquire new customers, Personalshop relies on cross-media marketing instruments. Customer acquisition focuses on Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Both print and online measures are employed to reach as many qualified new customers as possible. The first purchase impulse is triggered, depending on the customer journey, through mailings, inserts in packages, print media, banner ads, or catalogs.
To address customers correctly and individually while excluding existing customers from the new customer acquisition process, Trebbau professionally prepares the rented address lists for all countries. The benefits of print mailings are numerous: only “real” new customers are targeted, as the rented addresses do not overlap with existing customers. This avoids unnecessary costs for advertising materials and postage and increases response rates.
For the DACH market, Personalshop develops media, package insert, and online measures for new customer acquisition in collaboration with Trebbau. Target-group-specific magazines and newspapers, as well as suitable mail-order environments for package inserts, are included, along with powerful online actions.
